Mike Shanahan—a new leader

The Washington Redskins are embarking on a new era under the direction of Mike Shanahan.  Or are they?  The truth of the matter comes down to can the new coach figure out how to use the talents and resources of Daniel Snyder to his advantage to build a championship culture or will Daniel Snyder’s involvement become disruptive and cause a incongruent leadership and management function.  In any leadership position, realize there will always be some challenge to maximize the available resources with particular attention to those who have influence on the final outcome.  The Skins success will be directly correlated to the trust that Shanahan can develop with Snyder.  Stay tuned there will be some signals early in the Shanahan tenure.
